Details
State Bank of India has released advertisement CRPD/SCO/2026-27/30 to engage six Specialist Cadre Officers on a fixed-term basis. The posts are GM and Chief AI Officer, three DGM roles (Risk and Operational Analytics, AI Governance and Compliance, Data Engineering/Model Application Development/AI Ops), an AI Solution Architect and an Enterprise AI Architect. Each post has one unreserved vacancy.
Applications are accepted online between 19 October and 9 November 2026, and age and experience are counted as on 30 September 2026. The GM post needs 15 or more years in banking, BFSI or IT, while the DGM posts need at least 10 years and the architect posts at least 8 years, each with a stated stretch in senior or specialised AI work.
Selection is by shortlisting, followed by an interview carrying 100 marks and CTC negotiation. The first four posts also include a 10-minute presentation. The engagement is for 3 years, extendable by 2 more at the bank's discretion, with a maximum of 5 years in total. The upper CTC ranges are Rs 160 lakh for the GM post, Rs 120 lakh for the DGM posts and Rs 90 lakh for the architect posts. Always confirm the final details in the official notification.
