Details
State Bank of India has released advertisement CRPD/SCO/2026-27/28 for regular Specialist Cadre Officer posts in its security cadre. The bank lists 60 vacancies in total: 9 for SC, 4 for ST, 16 for OBC, 6 for EWS and 25 unreserved. Posting can be anywhere in India.
Applicants need a graduate degree in any discipline plus commissioned service. For Manager (Security) the bank asks for an officer of at least Major rank in the Army (or equivalent in Navy or Air Force) with 10 years of commissioned service, or a Deputy Commandant in a paramilitary force with 10 years as an officer. For Deputy Manager (Security) it asks for a Captain-level officer with 5 years, or an Assistant Commandant with 5 years in a paramilitary force. The age range is 25 to 40 years as on 31 October 2026, with relaxation for reserved categories.
Selection is by an online test followed by a personal interview. The test is planned for December 2026 or January 2027 and interviews for January or February 2027.
