Details
The common recruitment process fills Group A officer posts (Scale I, II and III) and Group B Office Assistant (Multipurpose) posts in Regional Rural Banks across the country. The detailed notification is dated 1 September 2026.
On 21 September IBPS extended the online registration and fee payment window to 27 September 2026. It also refreshed the indicative vacancy annexure on 9, 15 and 25 September. The vacancies are anticipated figures from the banks, and the final allotment depends on what the banks actually report.
The 13,500 total is our own addition of the state-wise rows in the annexure of 25 September: about 8,126 Office Assistants, 4,095 Officer Scale I, 1,059 across the seven Scale II specialisations, and 220 Officer Scale III. Use the official PDF for a bank-wise or state-wise figure, because the PDF does not print a single grand total.
Registration is now closed. Always confirm the final details in the official notification.
