Details

On 23 October 2026 the Staff Selection Commission issued a clarification about the shortlist for Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2026, whose CBE result came out on 12 October 2026.

Some candidates asked why they appear as Unreserved. The Commission explained that candidates who applied under SC, ST, OBC, EWS or ESM but scored enough to qualify on the Unreserved standard were shown as UR. The detailed lists now display both the category chosen in the application and the category used for shortlisting. The lists are List-I (female) and List-II (male, other than SSF).

No other terms of the CBE result have changed. Always confirm the final details in the official notification.
