IBPS has put up the Online Main Exam call letter for the Specialist Officer recruitment (CRP SPL-XVI) on its Specialist Officers XVI page, along with an information handout and scribe guidelines, all dated 22 October 2026. Candidates who cleared the preliminary stage can log in and download the letter.
The handout names 1 November 2026 as the Main exam date. The test is online: four objective papers (English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude or General Awareness depending on the post, and Professional Knowledge) followed by a typed descriptive paper of 30 minutes. Objective papers total 150 questions for 200 marks, and the descriptive paper carries 25 marks.
Wrong objective answers cost one-fourth of the question's marks. Only Professional Knowledge is used for merit; the other tests are qualifying. Carry the printed call letter with your photo pasted, the stamped preliminary call letter and an original photo ID whose name matches the call letter. Always confirm the final details in the official notification.
