IES 2020 Cut Off

UPSC releases IES cut-offs which will be the basis of candidates’ selection. Candidates will have to obtain marks that match or exceed the minimum cut-off score. Failing to which, the candidate will fail the test, resulting in disqualification.

Stage 3 of the IES 2020 recruitment process will be the personality test cum interview of a total of 200 marks.

How to Fill IES Application Form 2020?

Engineering Services Exam 2020 application form can be filled in two parts. Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to register for IES 2020 exam:

IES Part-I Registration 2020

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC.

Step 2: Click on Exam Notifications tab.

Step 3: Click on Apply Online link.

Step 4: Click on the link available for IES part-I registration.

Step 5: Read the application form instructions carefully and click on Yes.

Step 6: Fill all basic information in the part-I application form such as:

Parents’ names Community
Educational qualification

Step 7: Once all the details are filled, click on Continue.

Step 8: Check all details in the online form carefully and click on Submit.

For part-II registrations, candidates need to complete the following steps:

Step 1: Pay IES application fee online (through SBI Net Banking/ debit card/ credit card) or offline (by cash through SBI bank challan) mode.

Step 3: Enter the following information in the IES online application form 2020:

Application fee payment details (except for fee exempted candidates) Selection of examination centre

Step 4: Click on the ‘I Agree’ button after reading the declaration.

Step 5: On clicking the button, a page with a registration number will be generated. Note down the registration number or take a printout of the page.

IES Application Form 2020: Important Points

  • It is advisable for candidates to only submit their applications once. However, in case, a candidate submits multiple applications, the one with higher RID shall be accepted by the commission and fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID.
  • The applicants must ensure that while filling the application forms, they are providing their valid and active e-mail ID as the commission might use electronic modes of communication while contacting the candidates.
