Pro Kabaddi 2019 HIGHLIGHTS, U Mumba vs UP Yoddha:

Catch all the live updates from the Pro Kabaddi 2019 match between U Mumba and UP Yoddha through News18 Sports’ live blog. U Mumba beat UP Yoddha 39-36 in the first game of matchday 49 at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune. In the second game of the night, home team Puneri Paltan face Tamil Thalaivas at the same venue.

UP Yoddha, who made their way to top 6 with a win over Jaipur, will look to continue their winning run while U Mumba will want to reclaim the fifth spot on PKL 2019 standings. UP Yoddha have a slender 3-2 edge over U Mumba in their head-to-head record and both teams will look to fight hard to have an effect of that standing.

With two playoffs appearances in their first two seasons,UP Yoddha will now be aiming for their first final appearance in PKL7 . The Yoddhas have retained last season’s best defender and the 100-point man, Nitesh Kumar. UP has also spent quite a money to rebuild their attack, buying Monu Goyat, Shrikant Jadhav and Rishank Devadiga for 93 lakh, 68 lakh, and 61 lakh respectively.

Jasveer Singh will be the team’s head coach for the second consecutive season after taking the team to qualifier 2 in the last season, just a step away from the final. But their overreliance on Nitesh Kumar has hurt UP so far in the seventh season, as they suffered two heavy defeats to start the league. Bengal Warriors crushed UP 48-17 and Gujarat defeated them 44-19. Can the UP Yoddha team 2019 turn things around to qualify for playoffs for the third consecutive time?

Dream11 Tips and Tricks For Today’s PKL Match: Tamil Thalaivas vs Patna Pirates

Defenders: We are going with a three-manned defence lead by Mohit Chillar, Jaideep, Neeraj Kumar. The Chillar brothers have formed a formidable pair in the defence, and their tackling is second to none. As has been mentioned earlier, Jaideep and Neeraj have been doing well in the absence of Surender Nada and has been a dominant force for Patna.

All Rounders: Manjeet Chillar and Hadi Oshtorak are our all-rounder choice. While Manjeet is the obvious choice, many would be surprised by the inclusion of Oshtorak. He may not be the most effective kabaddi player on the mat, that is the best 13.5 credits can buy.

Raiders: Rahul Chaudhari and MEM Mahalli form our choice in the attack. While we would have absolutely loved to include the likes of Pardeep Narwal and Ajay Thakur in our squad, their steep prices don’t allow us to. Moreover, Narwal is too steep at 17.5 credits, while Thakur has not clicked thus far. Chaudhari is the best raider on the mat as of now, and at 16 credits, he is a steal. Mahalli, on the other hand, has been impressive in the first two games and is a more sensible choice.
