UGC NET Admit Card – FAQ
Question: When will the registration for UGC NET start?
Answer: UGC NET 2021 Registration process has been started from 2nd February 2021 for the December cycle.
Question: Can I apply for two subjects in UGC NET 2021 exam?
Answer: No, you can apply for only one subject in the UGC NET exam.
Question: Students holding a master’s degree from distance education can apply for UGC NET 2021?
Answer: Yes, but the degree should be from a recognized institution.
Question: When and in what mode will be the entrance test of UGC NET organized?
Answer: UGC NET 2021 entrance test will be 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th & 17th May 2021 (December session).
Question: Can I select the exam date and slot?
Answer: No, there is no facility to make a choice of exam date and shift. The exam date, shift, and time will be allotted by NTA.
Question: Where will the NET qualified candidates get their E-certificates?
Answer: The e-certificate will be issued by UGC NET Bureau. The qualified candidates are required to contact at – Head, UGC NET Bureau, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg, New Delhi, Pin Code-110021, Phone No. (011-24116316, 24115416, 24115419)
Question: Is there any negative marking in the UGC NET exam?
Answer: No, there is no negative marking for incorrect responses.
Question: Will I be able to make corrections to the details of the application form?
Answer: Yes, candidates will be able to make corrections in the details of the application form when the correction window will open.
Question: Can I withdraw or cancel my application form for UGC NET?
Answer: No, online applications once submitted cannot be canceled/ withdrawn.
Question: What do I do if I am facing payment issues. I have paid the fee but it shows failed transaction and the amount is debited from my account?
Answer: If you are not communicated by the payment gateway after fee payment and not able to download the acknowledgment page, then you must make the fee payment again and download the acknowledgment page. The amount of failed transaction will be refunded back to your account within 7 to 10 days.
