Eligibility Criteria

If you have completed your graduation in any of the disciplines from the recognized college or university then you can apply for the exam. It is important to possess a graduation degree in Civil Engineering/Chemical engineering/ Mathematics/Economics/ Geology/ Natural Science/ Mechanical Engineering.

The candidate must be not less than 37 years and not more than 40 years of age. For OBC/SC/ST category candidates, there will be age relaxation follows according to the Government’s rules.

Exam Pattern

The examination will appear in two different parts Bihar Civil Services 2021 like. Candidates can find below the Exam Pattern for Bihar Civil Services:

Preliminary exam

This part consisted of objective type questions. This paper is fully based on a qualifying examination and this candidate needs to choose one correct answer from four different options. The medium of the Exam will be both English & Hindi. Overall, there will be 150 questions for 1 mark each. The exam duration will be 120 minutes. There will be 1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Main examination

This part will be a written exam which is a subjective type. The Main Exam has a qualifying paper General Hindi. Apart from this, there will be General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 carrying 300 marks each. There will be an Optional Paper carries 300 marks. The Duration will be 3 hours for each paper.
